ABOUT THE CHAMBER

For nearly 60 years, the Labrador North Chamber of Commerce (LNCC) has been the most diverse and representational business organization in Labrador. With our strong advocacy efforts and highly successful events such as the Northern Lights Business and Cultural Showcase, the LNCC is one of the most progressive and influential chambers in the country.

The Labrador Commerce will work with our members to foster a positive environment in which businesses and the community can prosper.

MISSION

Our mission is to promote and improve trade and commerce, and the economic, civil and social welfare of the district.

50+ YEARS OF HISTORY


For more than 50 years, the Labrador North Chamber of Commerce has been the most diverse and representational business group in Labrador.

1962

The Labrador North Chamber of Commerce is first established.

1986

The Labrador North Chamber of Commerce is incorporated.

2008

The first Northern Lights event is held, an event that continues to be held today with the latest one happening in 2020.

2015

Purchased, renovated, and opened the Visitor Information & Business Innovation Centre.

Community Support


Supporting the communities in which we are our members operate is a priority for the LNCC. Through initiatives such our Community Investment Program as the Expo Labrador Scholarship, we aim to support important community initiatives that make a positive impact on the lives of Labradorians.
