April Pike is the Dealer/Owner of Pike’s Home Hardware Building Center and Pike’s Home Furniture located in Happy Valley-Goose Bay. Prior to purchasing Home Hardware six years ago, April spent 20 years building a career with Newfoundland & Labrador Hydro. April has significant management and supervisory experience and was heavily involved with community involvement and volunteerism within the organization. April has been an avid community volunteer and has served on the Board of the local skating club, minor soccer association, minor hockey association, among others. April’s passion for volunteerism carries through to her own business, where she donates products and services for various community fundraising initiatives. Both April’s corporate and entrepreneurial experience lends itself to the mandate of the Chamber to promote and improve the business environment in Labrador and grow the area.
