Natasha was raised in Happy Valley-Goose Bay by Mike and Ruth Voisey, both who were lifelong residents of Happy Valley-Goose Bay with deep roots in the North Coast of Labrador. She is a Nunatsiavut beneficiary and very proud of her culture and my heritage, which is reflected at her craft shop, Slippers n Things, where she showcases and sells much of Labrador’s artistic talent to visitors and residents. Slippers n Things now has two locations and as become a must-stop attraction in the Upper Lake Melville area. In addition to Slippers n Things, Natasha manages her father’s company, Amauligak Services and Contracting Ltd. This company is the parent company for a number of operations, those include two Airbnbs, one office building, a restaurant called Pep’s Diner and two partnerships with companies providing goods and services to the Voisey’s Bay mine site. As a business owner, Natasha understands the contributions the local businesses make to our economy and community.
