Originally from Ireland, Niamh started her career in the Financial Industry at an early age. After she completed her Undergraduate degree, she continued to move through the ranking in banking and then moved to Canada in 2013. Niamh’s passion is in business growth and since her time in Goose Bay she has focused greatly on her community and developing relationships with local organisations and businesses.
In June of 2022 Niamh and her Husband Daryl Bracken set up a local meat market, MÓR Meats. A year later Niamh moved to working for MÓR Meats full time and the business has continued to grow and expand.
The combination of passion for quality food and business acumen has supported the success of their family business this far. It is with great pleasure that MÓR Meats serves their community and Labrador with Quality meats and products.
In their new location in the Loring Mall Goose Bay, the shop has now expanded to include a deli program, daily sandwich special, salad bar in addition to our fully service meat counter.
Niamh and her family take great pride in their business and the impact it has on their community. She is committed to continually improving their products and services and is excited about what’s to come for MÓR Meats.
The opportunity to be part of the Board of Directors for the LNCC greatly excites Niamh as it would be a privilege to participate in and give back to the local business community. Niamh feels she can add value to the LNCC drawing on her experience working in Business Growth and setting up her small family business. Her experience, business interest and passion for economic development coupled with her European influence bring a fresh perspective and a proven business skillset.
