Central Labrador is a hub of activity and is set in one of the most beautiful regions of our province and country.

With nearly 15 years experience in community development and engagement, you will find Alison at her happiest when she is working to provide spaces and platforms to highlight the incredible work of organizations and businesses in her community. She is a fierce advocate for the support local movement and as a result, is regularly filling her home (and belly!) with treasures and treats from local creators, bakers, and businesses.

After a brief game of tug of war with Sydney, Cape Breton, Alison has settled into her hometown of Happy Valley-Goose Bay with her husband, Shaun, and their lazy and lovable rescue husky, Abby.

Alison has extensive experience with community development, member and volunteer engagement, marketing and social media, governance, public engagement, and event management.
