EXPO LABRADOR 2021 CONFERENCE POSTPONED
Happy Valley-Goose Bay, NL – The Expo Labrador Organizing Committee is announcing the postponement of the Expo Labrador 2021 Conference scheduled for October 12.
“The Committee appreciates the economic impact and uncertainty caused by COVID-19 to Chamber members, businesses, and event partners,” says Expo Labrador Chairperson Ernie McLean. “We believe our valued participants and partners will be in a better position to attend next year as our economies continues to adjust and reopen.”
Expo Labrador is productive three-day event that offers a glimpse into the many bustling business sectors in Labrador including mining and mineral exploration, technology, natural resources, Indigenous business and reconciliation, small business success, green energy, and much more.
With additional restrictions and travel restraints again in place for some businesses who would otherwise attend the event, October was not deemed the appropriate time to host the event. As vaccine roll-out and recovery continues across the country, the Committee remains optimistic it will gather again in June 2022.
“In 2022, we look forward to partnering again with communities to develop an even stronger high-quality program and exceptional cultural experience that our event participants have come to expect. We very much look forward to gathering with our colleagues again soon.”
