Central Labrador is a hub of activity and is set in one of the most beautiful regions of our province and country.

National Safety Equipment is a division of National Shoe Ltd. which was born in 1939. Often we get asked “where in Canada are your other stores”. The question is based in the assumption,  because our company has “National” as part of its name, that we have locations across Canada. We delight in explaining we opened in Newfoundland, a British Dominion in 1939, our own little nation at the time. Since that time we remain a family owned business employing Newfoundlanders and Labradorians with deep roots in the province.
