Emma’s Suites
Emma’s Suites, located on 214 Kelland Drive Happy Valley-Goose Bay, began its operations in 2014. Since then, they have provided comprehensive hospitality services at very affordable rates! They employ 5 local employees as well as 3 international employees, keeping their workplace a diverse and safe space to work.
Like many other businesses, the pandemic has impacted their operations greatly. The past few months have been challenging due to COVID-19, but they did not close their doors. They did take a big hit with over 100 cancellations in a three-month period though.
Emma’s Suites hasn’t let the pandemic bring them down however! They have supported many local organizations and continue to do so. They believe one of their more recent and proudest moment comes from the gratitude they receive from the Mushuau Innu First Nation. They have stepped in to help this community when they needed it the most. Emma’s Suites supports local businesses throughout the community, including making donations to support children and recreational activities.
Emma’s Suites chose to join the Labrador North Chamber of Commerce (LNCC) to stay connected with the businesses in the community. Being in the hospitality industry, they believe that being connected with the LNCC helps build their business and relations with the community.
Being a part of the Labrador North Chamber of Commerce means being a part of an influential network. The LNCC appreciates the services Paws offers our communities and their initiatives to help sustain the economy.
