One of only two golf courses in Labrador, the Amaruk is a 6300 yard, 9 hole, 18 tee, par 71 public golf course constructed in the 1950s to serve American servicemen stationed at Goose Air Force Base and British servicemen stationed at RAFU Goose Bay.

The Club is open from late May to mid-October.
