FAQ ABOUT NOMINATIONS
Q: Can I nominate myself?
A: Yes! You can nominate yourself or your organization for an award. Self-nominations are encouraged!
Q: For how many awards can a business be nominated?
A: A business can only be nominated for a maximum of two (2) awards. If a business is nominated for more than two awards, the judges will place the business in the two award categories for judging that are most relevant and applicable.
Q: How will I know if I am nominated?
A: All nominees will be notified via email by chamber staff once the nomination period ends. We encourage you to celebrate and share this nomination with tour colleagues and on your social media channels! Social media marketing materials will be designed and provided.
Q: How will I know if I am a finalist?
A: Finalists are notified via email by Chamber staff during the first week of October. There will be a public announcement later in October – it will be posted on Chamber social media channels, on the Chamber website, and in the e-newsletter. Please note at this time we do not contact all submitters to inform them if they are not finalists, but if you are unsure by mid-October, you can reach out to the Chamber team to confirm.
Q: What happens if I am a finalist?
A: Finalists have an exciting time ahead! The LNCC will post and celebrate news on the finalists on our social media accounts and in our e-newsletter. Finalists will attend a reception with sponsors and judges to celebrate their achievements, and then they attend the big show: the Awards Gala in late November!
